I am sharing the list of sites I monitor for the west coast radiation fall out.  You have to remember, the government links, may be censored.  Meaning, they may not be completely accurate.  We are only being told what they want us to know.  Alternative news sources are appearing more accurate.  Some links may be helpful even to those further across the United States or even Europe, etc. as the situation progresses.   The sad part of this is, it is not only affecting Japan or the west coast, but the entire northern hemisphere.

Also, I thought I'd share a few thoughts for natural sources of iodine containing foods:

Kelp, Dulse, etc. (seaweeds) 

Increase the following in your daily diet and eat fresh~alive~ foods (if all possible):

Onions, Garlic
Dark leafy greens
Colorful fruits and vegetables

If sensitive to iodine, use Chlorella (cell wall cracked), as it is a great protector and chelator of radioactive metals from body.  If you can't find Chlorella, use Spirulina. 

The goal is to increase the amount of stable iodine in the blood, so the thyroid will absorb the stable iodine, instead of the radioactive iodine.

Also be aware in the coming days, where your food is coming from.   I am anxious to see what the organic farmers will be doing in CA.  During the winter months, until our local growing season is underway, our food co-op purchases fruits and vegetables from there.
